Kent school

Sutton Valence School near Maidstone in Kent came up with an ingenious way to raise funds for Sepsis Research FEAT in mid-November. Pitting teams against each other according to the house that they were members of, pupils raced to plant as many daffodil bulbs as possible in a specific area of the school grounds and in the allocated time. Senior pupils kept a watchful eye on proceedings. The teams gained sponsorship for the event on a dedicated school Just Giving page and ended up raising a magnificent £832!

Sutton Valence School has very kindly adopted Sepsis Research FEAT as one of its charities for 2021/2022 and has gone on to feature sepsis awareness in assemblies and in the classroom via our school SEPS_IS educational materials.

Our thanks go to the whole school community concerned for their amazing support – not least the hardworking planters on this occasion. We look forward to seeing the end results of your hard work next spring and to more creative fundraising later in the year!
