Following on from it’s important 2023/24 partnership exercise with the NIHR – to establish the top priorities for sepsis research in the future – Sepsis Research FEAT is now undertaking a crucial next phase of activity.
In order to understand the full range of research currently being undertaken across the UK and worldwide, and the concomitant gaps that need to be filled by new studies, Sepsis Research FEAT has this week launched a research mapping survey. The results of the survey will help the charity to target research funding and support effectively, by giving us a complete understanding of who is working on this vital topic and the areas of research they are engaged in.
If you are a researcher working on sepsis, severe infections or other infection-related topics, whether you work for a university, the NHS in the UK or another institution worldwide, we would very much like to know about the work you are doing. We are interested in research at all levels – from fundamental biology to clinical trials, from acute presentation to long-term follow-up and patient impact.
It takes just five minutes to let us know about the vital research you are undertaking. Doing so will help us to support and benefit the wider community of sepsis researchers globally.
