Sepsis Research FEAT is absolutely delighted to have won a second PR award for our Sepsis Awareness Month 2021 campaign. We received notification in early October 2022 that we are now the holders of a Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Scottish PRide Gold Award, under the category of Low Budget Campaign.
Sepsis Research FEAT Chief Operating Officer Colin Graham said, “We were able to share in our application just how every single resource we had was utilised (to its maximum effect!) to achieve Scottish and UK-wide coverage for the charity and its work on sepsis. We are absolutely delighted with the results that this campaign achieved. It’s been a team effort and we’re proud as punch.”
In their appraisal of the campaign the judges cited ours as ‘…a very strong entry…It had a well devised strategy that…(delivered)…innovation with a limited budget…This campaign had strong results.’
Earlier this year the charity received a PRCA Dare Award for the same Sepsis Awareness Month campaign. Both mark a real gear-change for the charity. Firstly, in terms of the recognition of the vital work that the charity undertakes in raising awareness of sepsis and funding sepsis research. Secondly, as testament to the huge amounts of hard work undertaken year-round by a small but incredibly hard-working team, aided constantly by our wonderful supporters. We are very grateful indeed to everyone who made this award possible.
