Sutton Valence School
When over 200 parents past and present, former pupils, staff, and governors got together on Friday, March 4th for the first social event in two years at Sutton Valence School in Kent, the fundraising for Sepsis Research FEAT was just fantastic.
With 26 teams competing hard to be The Quiz Factor champions, numbers were way beyond those the organizers had initially hoped for.
The quizmaster-extraordinaire was former parent David Gilman. David’s professional background in TV and the help of his wife Emma, coupled with the crack team organized by Director of External Relations Will Radford, meant the event could not have been slicker. Guest appearances from some famous names and clever twists on traditional rounds left teams deliberating over celebrity body parts and the acting skills of the staff.
With a bustling bar and a brilliant raffle organized by the Friends of the school, the evening raised an extraordinary £2142.13 for Sepsis Research FEAT.
A huge thank you to everyone involved for such tremendous fundraising and a fantastic evening and to the wider school community for its continued and generous support for Sepsis Research FEAT.
