In a move that reflects the charity’s growth and ambition under the leadership of CEO Stephen Moore, Sepsis Research FEAT is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Samia Burridge as its first Corporate Partnerships Director.
Samia is the founder of Sponsor Scientific, established in 2020. She has a track record of developing new, high value funding relationships, including strategic corporate partnerships and sponsorships.
With a first-class degree in chemistry and doctoral research in earth sciences and oceanography, Samia has worked as a science writer, publisher, fundraiser and business development manager. She started her career at the Nature journals and later moved into philanthropy and development for nonprofits, working across several areas of fundraising including trusts & foundations, major donors, and corporate partnerships. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.
Samia values quality, integrity, and independence and is keen to connect this charity with partners interested in supporting and advancing vital awareness and research into sepsis.
