Sepsis Research FEAT is absolutely delighted to have the support of William Reckless and his sister Georgia as they undertake their Big 5 challenge on Tuesday 5th August 2025 at 10:30am at Holme Pierrepont Park in Nottingham.
Building on his Big 4 challenge last year the Just Giving Young Fundraiser of the Year 2024 and his sister and right-hand woman will walk a 5 km circuit around the park before undertaking a further 5K by bike. Having recently undergone further surgery on his leg, this is an extraordinary challenge that William has chosen to undertake. The pair are raising funds for Sepsis Research FEAT and Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Charity whose team William credits with having saved his life.
Sepsis Research FEAT is honoured to have had the support of the whole Reckless family since William’s horrific experience of sepsis aged just 3 in 2020, which resulted in the loss of both legs and parts of most of his fingers. You can read William’s stories on our website here. William has shown amazing strength and resilience over the years, and huge generosity in his fundraising endeavours.
Do support William and Georgia and their wonderful challenge if you can, either in person on the day or via their JustGiving page here
